What a fantastic place, cannot wait to go back. Where do I start? The rooms are large, beautiful, and very clean. The towel art is fantastic, maids are great, they have many restaurants and nigh clubs all are great it is in the middle of the city very crowd of people nice to know the Cuban people to see what was done that day. The pools are great.

The hotel room was huge, well presented and clean. The cleaning and chamber maids are friendly and hard working. The shower wasn’t great but ok. The lifts worked. It would have been nice to have the fridge stocked with items but it was empty and didn’t work very well.

Very nice room. The restaurant had some really nice decent food with polite staff. However, I was unimpressed, when, after being welcomed I was asked to leave as apparently it was closing. Breakfast was as good as it could be for Cuba with a huge variety of food.

Very nice room view.Good location in the heart of the city. The pool could do with some upgrading as it was a little shabby. There is need for shelter also as it is not shaded. The food provided here is not good. However the pool bar staff are friendly.

If you are drinking at the bar in the lobby I would suggest that you check your change with care.conventional room service which was also not available in the time we were staying there.

When changing money please be advised that you are not informed of the exchange rate and neither do you receive a receipt. The location is great for getting to all the clubs although not as nice as being located within the old town.
I doubt I would stay here again. Although for a short stay it would be ideal

The rooms are not up to european standards in terms of all the trimmings. BUT, both we had were clean, with working electricity and plug sockets and hot water etc. the things that look a bit shabby is damp in certain places on the wall
The other great things to note about this hotel – 25th floor bar/club – simply amazing views of the city and hotel residents get in free.

If you stay here, you are not in old havanna, but only a 5CUC taxi or coco taxi away. You can also walk .Is a great way to see another part of the Havanna city

I absolutely loved the history and setup of the hotel. The sea view from my room was amazing, encompassing all the city’s east side and the Malecon. The meals and entertainment were quite enjoyable and the F&B staff made it a point to be always extremely friendly. At the reception, I received all the assistance and advice I could need from the staff who were always polite and eager to help, even when they were overwhelmed

My room was never really dirty but on one occasion I witnessed it just got a quick dusting and the sheets weren’t replaced I don’t mind because I shower before bed but I just hope they had put in new ones on my first day. Also, every day or so, some bathroom item wouldn’t get replaced and it was always a surprise to find out which one. Trying to get the missing bathtub plug replaced took 5 days of persistent asking,

I left very gratified because the staff was always polite and friendly. Now I laugh about the elevators and housekeeping – except the laundry part which was quite annoying. If you’re not too squeamish and you’re looking for the most comfortable place to stay in, come here. Anyway, with such a beautiful city, you’ll barely stay in your room at all.

The staff are helpful, the food at Breakfast and in the Ground Floor Restraunt were good, service always with a smile.

The room was massive and the view was fantastic. The lifts do go at a fair pace but never had any problems with them at all. The only slight downfall is the distance from Havana Centre, but the walk is very pleasant on a nice day.

The area is nice and not too loud at night, and quite safe to walk around. I enjoyed it and i hope if you go, that you will too.

windows of appartment very dirty full of splashes of paint . the carpet was very very dirty also with lots of paint splashes ( not able to walk on carpet with bare feet. could not use bath as that was very gruby and worn ( even if we could have found the bath plug)
no tea or coffee or kettle supplied . no safe( unless you paid, no fridge unless you paid) bed linnen towels etc very clean. food okay. stay included breakfast only. decided to have dinner of which we paid four, the staff made us feel uneasy seemed to want payment for meal before we had eaten.

Upon arriving at the room, you will receive a call in your room from customer services checking everything is alright and offering to help. However, should you require any help, customer services will direct you to reception, who will ignore you whilst they deal with customers who wish to change money.

Our room had no air conditioning so we did not sleep too well and we could not wait to get out of the place the next day. Avoid this hotel if you can.

We were of the opinion that given the reputation of being once a Hilton and with a location in the heart of New Havana, this hotel was the THE BEST PLACE TO STAY
we quickly discovered that while the rooms were spacious it was hard to find one with a ac that was functioning and as a consequence we ended up having our room changed 3 times in the first two days of our 4 night stay.
lucky for us we finally got a room with a functioning ac , mold in the air, tiles in the bath popping up and stained, the plumbing was old and not cleaned and full of soap scum, worst of all there was no internet access, no room menu to be found and service at the reception was absolutely pobut then to our dismay there was no iron, coffee maker and our safety box was at a cost per day.

The carpeting has not seen a vacuum cleaner in years and there were stains that resignated the true antiquity of the local, the furniture was brokenor, bell serve did not exist, you were left struggling with your luggage while they watched.
thankfully the hot water functioned and the maid service was decent at least for us.
The hotel should be reclassified as a 2 star.
