Santa Lucía

Santa Lucía, on the northern coast of Camagüey Province, is 21 km long. This large beach has fine white sand that slopes gently into the water, which is always calm because it is protected by and extensive coral reef just 2 km from the coast. The area has 35 scuba-diving sites, a wealth of marine flora and fauna and many sunken ships, some of which date from the 19th century.

Nearby Cayo Sabinal has several kilometers of intimate beaches of excellent quality. Inland, the island is completely unspoiled and rich in wildlife.
